Corrosion
When a material reacts with the external environment, over a time, its structure will be deteriorated, and breaks down into small pieces. 

Rusting
Rusting is a chemical process, which is common with the metals containing iron. In other words, the corrosion process taking place when there is iron, it is known as rusting.

corrosion is aprocess in which metals are heaten up gradually by the excel of air, moisture or chemicals on their surface present in the atmosphere. but in case of iron is known as Rusting in which an iron article get covered by a Red Brown flaky substance called rust.
