How is the depth of sea measured by using sound? write in brief.

The depth of the ocean can be measured using a device called SONAR (Sound Navigation And Ranging). Sonar works by sending out sound waves and measuring how long it takes for the echo to return. by using an instrument, that is SONAR ,it send sound waves into sea and deflect back to ground, by the time taken to come back waves to the ground, they will calculate it
