1.Democracy is based on the principle of political equality.
2.From a poor farmer to the richest person of the country ,it may be president or prime ministers ,all have equal rights.
3.In democracy people rule by selecting their representatives in elections.
4.All citizens irrespective of religion ,caste,creed ,sex are equal .
5.In democracy ,laws are for all people equally and democracy resents descrimination.
