How is the fan an example of circular motion?

I mean the fan has got a fixed axis around which the blades move so why can't it be called rotatory motion.

It is called so,because a fan has speed and velocity constant and acceleration is zero so it has uniform circular motion
We cannot call it rotatory motion because in rotatory motion the object rotates about a fixed axis and it has its speed constant and velocity variable and by his acceleration is not zero,so this the reason.
