How is the formation of coal different from oil and natural gas?

because its made from plant decomposition while oil and natural gas is made from animal and plant decomposition

oil and natural gas are formed when aquatic life dies and buried under deep ocean and pressure change them to oil and natural gas

but

coal is formed when trees and animals dies on earth buried under it under high pressure
