According to me, we can see our image only in mirror as compared to page of book !! as the page has not any reflecting surface. it doesn't reflect Light rays. same in the case of book! we can't see our image in a book. >> The image can only be produced when the surface is polished!
Like ,in the mirror .... we are able to see ourself only bcoz it has polished & clear surface ! It has silver coating in the behind of a plane mirror (used in our homes).
