The greenhouse effect is a vital natural phenomenon, intensified by human activity. Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) are the only greenhouse gases notcreated by nature. Other greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, are emitted by human activity, but the molecules also occur naturally in the Earth's atmosphere.

Answer:

The greenhouse effect is created by the greenhouse gases that trap the heat of the sun, in the earth’s atmosphere.

Explanation:

The greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, chloro-fluoro-carbons, and sulfur dioxides are light and form a hole in the ozone layer of earth and make a layer of their own.

These layer of greenhouse gases allow the sun rays to enter the earth’s atmosphere, however, doesn’t allow the rays to exit the atmosphere into space.

Thus the earth heats up due to sun rays that are not able to escape the atmosphere. This is how the greenhouse effect is functioning.
