How is the industrial sector dependent on primary sector? Explain with examples.

Industrial sector and primary sector are dependent on each other. Industries need raw material for carrying out production activities. This raw material is provided by the primary sector making itself vital. e.g. Textile industry is dependent upon raw cotton obtained from agriculture sector.
