It depends on what kind of frog it came from! Some tadpoles can remain in their tadpole stage as long as 8 months, while others only take 6 to 9 weeks!

The life cycle of a frog differ from the life cycle of an ostrich.

Life cycle of a frog:

  • A total of three stages are crossed by Offspring of a frog to grow into its adult and they start from the egg where after an incubation period of 21 days.
  • The offspring hatches out but it is still not completely grown so it has to undergo another phase which is living underwater in the form of a fish and surviving on the aquatic plants.
  • In this phase, it is called a tadpole once this phase is over. It is the third phase where it starts growing lungs and can live on land to become a fully grown adult frog.

Life cycle of ostrich:

  • An ostrich also has three stages which it has to cross to become a fully grown Bird.
  • One of the biggest eggs that is found belongs to this Bird. The offspring comes out in the form of the egg which after an incubation period breaks out to become ostrich chicks.
  • After undergoing a complete phase of growth it turns into a fully grown bird.
