From the 12th to the 21st of April, the Minister of Finance was present at the University of California were she was invited to participate in several debates, about Public Finance Management, with students of that University.
She also had the opportunity to speak to the San Diego community about Timor-Leste. Afterwards, she initiated conversations with professors from the university who showed a great interested in helping Timor-Leste.
From that resulted a mobilization of students who wanted to choose Timor-Leste as a destiny for an exchange program to take place the next summer. These students will have the opportunity of sharing their knowledge with the future youth leaders of our nation and with the people.
