)Both amoeba and plasmodium reproduce asexually by fission. But the difference is that amoeba undergoes binary fission.i.e.amoeba divides to produce two daughter amoebae whereas plasmodium undergoes multiple fission.i.e many new organisms are formed simultaneously by a single organism.
