Da Vinci utilized the sequence with the Golden Spiral, which stems from the Perfect Rectangle. The Perfect Rectangle is formed by creating rectangles within the corresponding dimensions of 1.618, from each descending Fibonacci Number (8, 5, 3, 2, 1, etc.) The spiral comes from touching each side in the Perfect Rectangle. The Golden Spiral can best be seen in the shell of a Nautilus
