Movement of leaves of a sensitive plant-

It occurs due to change of turgor pressure(amount of water) resulting in swelling or shrinking and tgerefore in changing shape.

It is non directional.

It helps tge plant to escape unfavourable conditions.

Movement of shoot towards light-

It occurs due to the growth hormone auxin which is synthesised at the shoot tip helps the cell to grow longer and thus results in the movement of shoot towards light.

It is a directional movement.

It helps the plant in its growth.
