how is the nasal passage in humans designed? What is the significance of this design?​

nostrils are the Nestle opening through which air is drawn into nasal cavity.the national cavity is separated from oral cavity by a Bony plate.nasal cavity has Central septum which divides it into pair Nasal passages.the nasal passages lined by ciliated epithelium and mucus secreting cells.both mucus and cilia check the entry of dust particles and microbes.in nasal cavity air is warmed and moistened.nasal cavity and seen internal nostrils to which air enters into pharynx.
