hiiii friend here your answer ✔️✔️

Nuclear energy (or atomic energy) is generated in a nuclear fission process. In nuclear fission process a heavy atom such as uranium-235 or plutonium-239 is bombarded by free neutrons and as a result this heavy atom splits into two or more lighter nuclei, releasing energy, gamma radiations and free neutrons. A part of these free neutrons are later used by other heavy atoms to trigger fission. This is known as nuclear chain reaction.

This chain reaction can be controlled by using neutron moderators.

Energy released in a fission reaction:

92 U235 + 1neutron ===> 56Ba142 + 36Kr92 + 2n + Energy

Energy released in a fusion reaction:

1 H2 + 1H3 ===> 2He4 + 1neutron + Energy

In nuclear fission, atoms are split to release the energy. ... The fuel thatnuclear reactors use to producenuclear fission is pellets of the element uranium. In a nuclear reactor,atoms of uranium are forced to break apart. As they split, the atoms release tiny particles called fission products.

uses :Nuclear power is the use of nuclearreactions that release nuclear energyto generate heat, which most frequently is then used in steam turbines to produce electricity in anuclear power plant. Nuclear power can be obtained from nuclear fission,nuclear decay and nuclear fusion.
