how is the poet's love different from that of other
Answers
Persons like poets or writers are called so because of their special ability of viewing beneath the surface and sensing emotions in a greater depth than the people we call normal human beings.
Also poets have an amazing quality of fine imagination and comparision that adds that special charm to their depiction of love.
There is a story describing love in poet's sight that- In a kingdom there is a poet living in a village with very fine skills and the king was very fond of the works of the poet so he wanted to give the poet a special place in his royal court.
As the poet was from a small village, the king expected that this offer would make the poet overwhelmed and much more grateful towards him but he astonished to hear the deny of the poet on such a alluring offer. And from personal investigation he came to know about the love of the poet with a girl of the same village. Then the king convinced the poet with the assurance of inviting the lady love of the poet to his city and arranging a house for them.
As the king was fond of the writings of the poet already, wheh he realized that all this romantic poetries are dedicated to this girl, he wanted to see the girl. But when he saw her found nothing that special in her that could inspire to create such beautiful poetries.
This dilemma of the king couldn't be hidden from the poets eye and he silently said that -there is a lack in the looks your majesty. Then the king arranged lavish clothings to the country side girl and still couldn't find the ‘that special' thing. Then again the poet said about the lack of looks and the king arranged royal jewellery for her and still couldn't find any special beauty in her and looked at the Poet desperately.
Then the poet said that there's the lack of look of a lover in king.
Here we can conclude that love for the king is some ‘that special' kind. That deals with gorgeous looks but for a poet there is something more than just outer appearance in love, that makes the difference.
