LUCKNOW: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that the women Self Help Groups (SHGs) made their presence felt across the state by playing a crucial role in helping the state government in its battle against the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The CM was speaking after digitally transferring over Rs 88 crore to over 40,000 women self-help groups and 2,606 other SHGs from the revolving fund and community investment fund, respectively, under the state rural livelihood mission. He also interacted with a host of beneficiaries. The state government has managed to reach out to 52 lakh families through formation of 4.8 lakh SHGs .
