we know that when two different gametes fused together formed progeny but in asexual reproduction there were no fusion of gametes but progeny formed from only one parent but on sexual reproduction require two parents to produce progeny

The pogeny is different in asexual from that of sexual reproduction because:

1. The progeny is formed in asexual reproduction is through fission or fusion while in sexual is through is through fertilization.

2. Asexual reproduction takes place in only one body while in sexual reproduction requires two bodies with a male and a female.

3. In asexual reproduction, the animals performing this are very primitive and has very little scope for development of their genetic diversity, while in sexual the fertilization process increases the change to survive by enhancing genetic diversity.
