how is the reflection of light different from reflection of sound?
Answers
Answer:
The law of reflection of sound waves states that the angle of incidence is always equal to the angle of reflection. But unlike reflection of light on a highly smooth surface, in the reflection of the sound wave, a part of the incident wave gets transmitted to the medium where it hits.

theres a huge difference between the reflections of two different forms of energy
there can be taken like a 100s of differences but still the basic differences are
light have both particle and wave nature where as sound only have wave nature
light dont need medium to propogate where as sound needs medium to propogate
light speed decreases while travelling from denser medium where as sound speed increases
hope it helps
