How is the resistance of a wire affected if: (i) its length is doubled (ii) its radius is doubled?

(1) If u double the length of the wire, resistance doubles

(2) Resistance would be reduced by 1÷4

Answer:if the length of the wire gets doubled than resistance will get half of the lenght of the wire.

Explanation: the resistivity gets half due to increase in length of wire as a result resistance gets half  .but if we half the length of wire then the restivity gets doubled
