how is the resistance of the wire affected when its length is doubled and its radius is also doubled

As a wire gets longer its resistance increases, and as it gets thinner its resistance alsoincreases because its cross sectional area decreases.Doubling the length will doublethe resistance, but the wire alsomust get thinner as it isstretched, because it will contain the same amount of metal in twice the length.
