how is the respiratory passage kept free from dust particles

the hair present in our nose help in filtering the air of dust particles...these tiny hair trap the dust particles which prevents them to enter the respiratory tract

the respiratory tract is lined with a mucous membrane which further prevents the entry of dust particles by absorbing them
