Answer:

Sex of baby is determined by sex chromosomes present in male and female gemate

Sex chromosomes present in female is (X,X)

Sex Chromosomes present in male is (X,Y )

During the union of male and female gemate , the sex of zygote formed is determined by which chromosomes does sperm carry with it.

If it carry X Chromosome , the sperm will combine with X chromosome in Ovum and form the pair of (X,X ) , which leads to Girl Child.

If it carry Y Chromosome , the sperm combine with X Chromosome in Ovum and give rise to new combination of (X,Y ) , which produce Boy Child.
