The silence of the seas is broken by the sweet voice of the reaper. She's singing a song which is more thrilling than ditz raspberries. Wordsworth has chosen the song of the nightingale and thus the ditz for comparison with the song of the reaper to punctuate the inimitable agreeableness of the reaper's song. The minstrel wants to convey that the voice and song of the solitary reaper is both sweet, melodious and awful.
