The speaker is portia. Her portrait is locked in one of the three caskets :-Gold, Silver, Lead because her dead father has set this so she will find a right husband and by this he has prohibited her to choose a husband of her choice.
Bassanio will be able to find her portrait only if he chooses the lead casket.
