sound does not heard in vacuum. it needs median for hear. in dry air sound waves travels fastly and in humide air it travels slowly. it's means that, when temperature is high the rate of frequency of sound waves is fast.and when the temperature is low it's frequency is slow.

Sound
As we know that sound needs a medium to travel. The speed of sound is maximum in solid and minimum in gases. Sound cannot travel in vacuum.
- Speed of sound is affected by humidity in air. The speed increases because of the weight of the water vapor and moisture content increases density, resulting in increased speed.
- Temperature also affect speed of sound . Heat and sound both are form of energy. We know that molecules have more energy at higher temperature and vibration increases, which leads sound waves to travel faster. Hence higher the temperature higher the speed.
