The story "the little girl" is about mutual relations between parents and children. Often parents particularly fathers are too much busy with their jobs and business that they can hardly give sufficient time to kids. Tired they come home in the evening and behave coldly with their kids. This develop a kind of distance between the two. Children begin avoiding their parents and form certain negativity towards them. They fail to understand that their parents are always there well wishers. Then a little scolding and punishment on part of the parents even broadens the gap and bitterness creeps in the mutual relations.
The stories name is appropriate as kezia being a little girl does not understand the above and develops a great fear from her father.
