How is the transportation of h2o in xylem different from the transportation of food in phloem?

Xylem forms a continuous network of channels that connects roots to the leaves and and transport H2o while in phloem it is done through cells .

2. Conduction of water and minerals takes place through xylem vessels and tracheids .

Phloem :-

1. Transport of food occurs in leaves to other parts of plant.

2. Conduction of food takes place through sieve tube and companion cells.
