For example- when a use and throw pen is purchased and used up , people throw them thinking that they are of no use. We can make something more attractive and useful out of em'. When a lot of people throw these things , the waste generated is in a large quantity so instead of throwing up things , put them to some use .

The Use and Throw concept is gradually decreasing,

plastic bags,spoons,plates,cups, etc all have been stopped and converted to long term use products which reduces the waste.

Use and throw products are cheap and that is the reason they are bought in large quantity by the people and as the demand increases it is obvious that the supply also increases and hence the waste also increases.

But now it has been controlled to an extent and people have gradually changed themselves from "use and throw" to "long-term" products
