The weakened virus has less number of survivors and hence can't reproduce further but normal virus multiplies in an increasing rate

Weekend virus will have structurally altered protein coat when compared to that of normal virus.

● Weekend viruses are also called as dead viruses as they are made inactive for the purpose of vaccination mostly.

● These weakened or dead viruses cannot protect themselves from the action of of vaccines or immune cells.
