While prose is written in paragraphs and mostly narrative language, it is also mostly arranged into chapters. This not withstanding, it can still be descriptive or expository.

Poetry is composed in lines, call d verses arranged into stanzas (there are several kinds of lines into which poetry and or lines can be arranged.)

Drama is basically written into acts and scenes. Again, modern drama may not follow this traditional format of composition as some dramatists may employ divergent composition styles.
