The production of new plants from a small piece of plant tissue (or cells) removed from the growing tip of plant in a suitable growth medium is called tissue culture.
Tissue culture is performed by these steps such as follows;
1.a small piece of plant tissue being taken from the growing tip of a plant.
2.plant tissue grows to form callus.
3.callus develops roots and shoots.
4.many plantlets are produced.These can be transplanted into pots or soil.
