top soil is the uppermost layer of the land which is responsible for the fertility of the soil, weather the soil if fertile or not . If The soil will be fertile then biodiversity will be very favorable for the plants. And if the soil is not fertile then biodiversity will be soon destroyed .
There for topsoil is responsible for the betterment of the biodiversity.
