Hey mate here's your answer hope it helps ❤️

The transport of oxygen is fundamental to aerobic respiration. Oxygen transport within the human body occurs through both convection and diffusion. Within the pulmonary capillaries, one haemoglobin molecule binds up to four oxygen molecules in a cooperative manner.

We know that haemoglobin is red coloured iron containing pigment which is present in our RBCs.

\bigstar Oxygen can tie with haemoglobin in a reversible manner to form oxyhaemoglobin.

\bigstar Binding of oxygen with haemoglobin is related to partial pressure.

\bigstar In the alveoli, High pO₂, low pCO₂ lesser H+ concentration and lower temperature, the factors are all favourable for the formation of oxyhaemoglobin, but in low pO₂, high pCO₂, high H+ concentration and higher temperature exist the factor is favourable for the dissociation of oxygen from the oxyhaemoglobin.

\bigstar When percentage saturation of haemoglobin with O₂ is plotted against the pO₂ is forms sigmoid curve which is also known as oxygen dissociation curve
