Urbanisation leads to the cutting of forest and making buildings  in the area cleared by cutting trees this creates an imbalance in nature due to which there is a decrease in number of forests and growth in the number of industries and factories. The ecosystem requires a balance in nature the number of trees cut down should not harm us if we plant the doulble number of trees but urbanisation does not promote this and hence responsible for destruction of ecosystem.
