Water is a very precious liquid.

All beings need water for survival.

However, 97 per cent of the total water on earth is salt water because they are found in the oceans.

Of the rest 3 per cent, 2 per cent is trapped in ice caps and icebergs and only 1 per cent is available to us in the form of fresh water for use.

Therefore, with scanty water available for use, one can say that water is a very precious liquid of Planet Earth.
