NOIDA: To bring the spotlight back on the growing concern of depleting groundwater, the Forum for Indian Dance, Heritage & Art (Fidha) organised a song and dance event to spread awareness about rain water harvesting and water conservation.
He initiative by the forum - which is an extension of Avvai Tamil Sangam and Charitable Society, Noida - comes at a time when groundwater table in Noida has reached an alarming level. "Hence, the society thought of using the dance and music festival at the appropriate occasion to spread the awareness," said B Krishnamchari, secretary of the society.
