All birds and animals, regardless of their size, contribute in different ways to maintain the balance in an ecosystem. The natural vegetation in an area depends on the temperature and the moisture available. The main types of natural vegetation found the world over are: Forests, Grasslands, Scrubs and Tundra.

Introduction:

Natural vegetation and wildlife exist only in the Biosphere and are interlinked and dependent on one another for survival. Vegetation serves as wildlife habitat and the energy source for the vast array of animal species on the planet (and, ultimately, to those that feed on these).

Wildlife dependent on natural vegetation:

  • The factors that affect the growth of natural vegetation include climatic factors that is rainfall and water, temperature, air and wind.
  • Abiotic components include topography and soil wherelse the environmental factors include plant growth and development.
  • Natural vegetation is unique phenomenon that does not necessarily.
  • Other limiting factors, like competition for resources, predation, and disease also impact populations.
