wind energy is used in windmills..... here speed of air should be more than 15 km per hr..........this wind helps to turn the fans and which further turn the turbine ............and then the mechanical energy of turbine is converted in electrical energy......

Is generator is connected to the turbine when the kinetic energy of wind passes through the high velocity through to the windmill the turbine rotates and hence The generator also rotate and electricity is produced and later on the electricity is supplied everywhere
