Explanation:

In ZIFT the fertilization is done In Vitro i.e, In a test tube and when fertilization occurs successfully in test tube, it develope into a zygote. The zygote is injected into the female's fallopain tube.

While in ICSI, one sperm is taken and ejected directly into the cytoplasm of the ovum (egg) to encourage fertilization ( outside the female body ). This method is best if the male partner's sperms cannot penetrate through the layers outside the ovum.
