Hey friend
First of all Zygospore is a sexual spore formed by the nuclear fusion of haploid cells whereas sporangiospore are endogenous, non motile, asexual spores.

Secondly, Zygospores are diploid but sporangiospores are haploid.

HOPE IT HELPS.....

Dear students,

Difference between zygospores & sporangiospores -

  • Zygospores are involved in sexual reproduction while sporangiospores are involved in asexual reproduction.
  • Zygospores are haploid (n) whereas sporangiospores are diploid (2n).
  • Zygospores are thick-walled resting spores while sporangiospores develop within a sac.
  • Zygospores are shown by only class Zygomycetes while sporangiospores are present in most of the fungi.

Hope this helped you. Keep asking..
