How is zygote different from an ovum?

ovum is the egg which is already found in a women's uterus. when this ovum is fertilized by sperm, it forms a new cell called zygote. it get devoloped into a baby.

Oocyte is the still immature female gamete whereas the ovum is the germ cell of a female that has attained maturity and is ready to fuse with the male germ cell. The zygote is the fused ovum and sperm; it develops into the embryo and later into the baby.
