The judiciary is an important independent organ of the state in india.it has an important role to play in the existing indian federal system.
1.the judiciary oversees the implementation of constitutional provisions and procedures.
2.in case of any dispute about the division of powers,the highcourt and the supreme court may pass the necessary orders and give directions.
3.in India we have unified judiciary with the supreme court at apex .the supreme court of india has the original juridiction to settle dispute between the union and states.

yes judiciary system plays an important role in the democratic india as it is only power which maintains law and order in the country..and has the rights to punish the offenders.. which helps this democratic country to stay in peace..
