Answer:
It is vitally important in a democracy that individual judges and the judiciary as a whole are impartial and independent of all external pressures and of each other so that those who appear before them and the wider public can have confidence that their cases will be decided fairly and in accordance with the law. When carrying out their judicial function they must be free of any improper influence. Such influence could come from any number of sources. It could arise from improper pressure by the executive or the legislature, by individual litigants, particular pressure groups, the media, self-interest or other judges, in particular more senior judges.
The judiciary plays an important role in the working of the government and helps in protecting the other 2 organs of the government (i.e executive and legislative). It is important for the judiciary to play it's role independently they should give the justice to the right person without any pressure.
The legislature and executive cannot interfere in the working of the judiciary as they all play a very important role in working of the country and should not pressure each other. As, they stand strong together.
Like, for example,
If any politician has been opposed, he should not be given justice just because he/she is a politician and has power. The person who needs justice and is correct, should get justice. Without any pressure on any victim / evidence / working or anything else involved in the process of justice
I hope this helps :)
