How kingdom fungi is different from the other kingdom?

fungi are called as non photosynthetic . they do not possess chloroplasts and hence are non-photosynthetic as mentioned above. They are differentiated from animals in their sessile nature and that they have cell walls. Some of these contain cellulose but many are composed of other polysaccharides(a carbohydrate whose molecules consist of a number of sugar molecules bonded together.) such as chitin (also found in animals), glucan and mannan.
