Land water relationship influencing the climate of India:
As we know, 'southern part of India' is surrounded by seas from three sides, the Arabian in the west, the Indian Ocean in the south and Bay of Bengal in the east.
Hence, due to 'moderate influence' of the sea, this region is neither 'very hot' in summer nor 'very cold' in winter. However, north India that is away from the 'sea' has an 'extreme type of climate'. It is very hot in summer and too cold in winter.
