When barium chloride reacts with sodium sulphate the exchange salts of one metal with the other . i.e., they undergo double displacement reaction
BaCl2 + NaSO4 gives BaSO4 + NaCl
in the reaction we see that nothing new is created and nothing is destroyed hence satisfying law of conservation of mass
