Mendel took 2 plants with and made croosed between 4 traits,
He took round wrinkled seed plant and green wrinkled seed plant
The results of dihybrid corss were:-
F2 generation: phenotypic ratio- 9:3:3:1 ,i.e, 9 yellow round, 3 green round, 3 yellow wrinkled and 1 green wrinkled
Here, 2 type of plants are different,and don't resemble either of parents.
That's why it is called law of indipendent assortment.
