Since the widespread of a dangerous pandemic named coronavirus or COVID- 19 , our lives have been changed totally. As the only possible solution for stopping the spread of the virus till now is social distancing; governments all over the world have put lockdowns to save their people.
The miserable lives of animals and the conditions of slowly deteriorating forests have changed. As use of vehicles has come down to almost negligible and since factories have been locked up, emission of harmful greenhouse gases like sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide decreased considerably. Animals have started to roam around without fear. Harmful chemicals are not being discharged into rivers, which has cleaned them a lot. Trees have started to grow again. Mountains of Pir Panjal Range in Kashmir are visible from the city of Jalandhar! This clearly shows how the environment has changed so dramatically and in a good way. Ozone holes are slowly healing and mother Earth is clearly at ease. Delhi, whose AQI( Air Quality Index) was 214 at a time has come down to 89! Animals like the Grizzly bear, Rhinoceros and Elephants are roaming freely and happily on the streets all around the world.
This is how Lockdown has impacted the environment all over the Earth.
