How logic gates are useful in our life???

Logic gates are used to make a few combinational circuits like multiplexers, demultiplexers, encoders, decoders etc. A few arithmetic circuits such as adder, subtracter, comparator etc. You make an Arithmetic and Logic Unit using them. Then flip-flops, counters and registers are made to store data.
